I have no issue with the late caution at the end, they're tired of the backlash from multiple GWCs. The late caution only compounded the mess that they created on the restart before. They need to re-evaluate their process for that scenario, because it sucks. I for one am glad for the 3 week break.

Sorry but I know if this was someone else winning like this people would be throwing fits and calling him the golden goose or whatever the ****

I mean they've proven a thousand times they do whatever they want whenever they want so I don't see why something as important as this isn't prioritized. At a completely lane sensitive track like this the guy in 2nd who becomes the new leader is put at a total disadvantage. Hell I'd say taking...

"Hey Cliff, Jaqua said you were toast, again, any thoughts?"

To be fair, if it happens to the leader of the race a caution should be thrown immediately. There's absolutely no way that doing it this way is fair regardless of who's involved.

No they said Larson gains control at that point. Because NASCAR

Talk about a horseshoe. It's all the way up Larson's ass

I actually think he's in the worst spot. Take the outside of row 1 or hand it to Larson?

    Cup RACE thread --- Indy

Yeah they did since he had to slow down for the caution on track so that part definitely hurt

Basically just kept them from losing a lap. In the grand scheme it sounds like it changes very little unless it stays completely green. Which we know it will not

I wish but Hamlin and Reddick are both right there on new tires. Maybe in control of a decent finish again but that's about it

Larson came close and one of the smartest guys in the field did the same thing 10 laps after seeing them get busted so it's whatever at this point but clearly something was left unclear.

Whether it was a misunderstanding or trying to exploit to gain an advantage, there seems to have been multiple teams and drivers that interpreted it the same way. Sounds like a grey area that was left by NASCAR.
