NASCAR killing the sport / NOT NASCAR

Yes, just for TV - they do offer AT&T internet in larger markets but not in my area in upstate NY.

NASCAR killing the sport / NOT NASCAR

They have a self-titled "loyalty department" which I was directed to. I pay $54/mo. for the second level package and HBO. Made this deal when renewing this past Spring.

    Manufacture war

GM has 8 wins, Ford has 8 wins (7 non-cucumbed), and Toyota has 5 wins. Ironic how the overall performance seems to be the inverse of that ranking.

2017 Watkins Glen - I LOVE NEW YORK 355 - Pre Race Thread

All packed up and ready to go! Only one problem, we don't head down there til Thursday so it's going to be a looooong week.

Adam Stevens vs #78 Pit Crew

I can justify the suspension but it looks bad from a competition stand point. I guess I was naïve to how much JGR is packed into the 78 team. Are engines, chassis and pit crews the only things they outsource? Not trying to knock them just realized I know little about this relationship.

    Are the drivers athletes?

Maybe Jimmy Spencer would have made a hell of a nose tackle. Different sports or disciplines have different demands. Vince Wilfork or Prince Fielder wouldn't last 5 minutes in an NBA game but it doesn't mean they aren't athletes. Drivers may not be athletic in the sense that stick and ballers...

Good plug for cargo space... should help them smoke the competition!

    #88 driver announcement - It's Bowman

Agreed. Their track record has been proven over and over. That doesn't guarentee unlimited future success but it makes your statement true.

Thinking about going to the Pocono race

Not sure if this will help answer your question but here are some pics of my seats during the June race this year. I was in France 123 - Row 9 - Seats 1, 2. Could obviously see pit road and front stretch very well. Turn three had decent visibility and turn one seemed miles away. The huge TV...

Who Will Replace Jr in the 88/25 Car?

Good for AB. Heck of an opportunity for him, I hope he makes the most of it.

Will NASCAR use VHT at Indy?

Alternate each groove. One groove will have VHT, the other will have 10W-30.

    SILLY SEASON 2018

Sr won the pole with a reported broken collar bone at the glen in the 90s. Prior (as mentioned) Mr Rudd taped open his eyes.... everything else is just a game.

Where will Mat land for 2018?

The last thing SHR needs is to hire another aged driver. Even if he has a few good years left. I could see if that had a couple of Cole Custers and just wanted to buy time. I'm thinking the 88 is a sensible spot.

IS IT THE DRIVER OR CAR??

Idk if there is a correct answer. IMO a great car can do more for an average driver than a great driver can do for an average car.

End of the day though, MTJ is a good driver on the best team in the sport. They deserved the win and put everyone else on notice bigtime. Congrats 78 crew

MTJ is a fine driver and one I respect very much. http://racing-reference.info/driver/Martin_Truex_Jr. Must have started eating something different for breakfast in 2016.

    Rate The Race: Kentucky

5/10 which is default because a race was on. Leave the tire dragon at home. It didn't help a thing.
