    The Attendance Thread

The old reliable eye test to me looked like the crowd was noticeably stronger this year from last year.

    Silly Season 2023

Ugh, I hope your wrong. But I have a feeling your right. And if you are right, it'll give me even more reason to tune in, and cheer against that tool.

    Cup RACE thread --- Pocono

I've seen some folks on twitter losing their minds in anger over the win being taken away. I genuinely don't understand the anger. They cheated, they got caught, why should they keep the win? Can someone help a brother out?

    Indy Verizon 200 Pre-Race thread

Oh for sure! and yea, 2008 turned me off for sure, but if NASCAR is going to race at Indianapolis then the oval is where they need to be at. A race can be boring but still mean something. For years Darlington almost put me to sleep, but it's Darlington so I still watched. Move the Trucks and...

    Ty Gibbs Appreciation Thread

now that Ty Gibbs hasn't been racing like a complete ass clown the last several races or so, I've really enjoyed him and yes even appreciated him and his talent. His battle with that tool Noah at Pocono was hard fought, but most important.... clean and he settled for 2nd. I loved it. Nice to...

Pocono Pre - Race Thread 2022

this article says no https://www.wilsonpost.com/sports/smi-is-expanding-nashville-superspeedway-parking/article_548e9722-ca78-11ec-88df-db5298e75a10.html the reasons cited for no are hilarious “It’s for safety reasons. We don’t want fans tripping over coolers in the aisles.” - really? I...

Pocono Pre - Race Thread 2022

He talked pretty openly back in May of this year during a IMS Youtube stream on mental strength or something, about how painful it was to live with himself that his crash resulted in the fatal injury of Badass Wilson and the demons he had to battle to try and eventually move on. I don't envy him...

Pocono Pre - Race Thread 2022

Something Nashville could learn for next year. This is partly why from what I've read, Pocono is going to have a stellar crowd.

Not a fan of them doing this... but i'll wait and see how the races are first before I complain.

Pocono Pre - Race Thread 2022

I am going, just 30 mins from my house as I live in a DSM suburb. Going both days, and ticket sales have been pretty strong. I too hope it can stay on the schedule for years, it's one of the better tracks Indycar races at. I miss seeing the trucks and Xfinity boys racing there though, I was a...

Pocono Pre - Race Thread 2022

Pocono is one of my favorite race tracks the Cup Series goes to. The races there during the Gen 4 era were some of my all time favorite races from back then. I think the racing with these new cars will make Pocono a great race again, and I'm quite frankly pretty damn excited to watch it when I...

Interest builds around possible changes to NASCAR schedule

Well for 1 thing, Chicagoland is over an hour away from downtown Chicago. It's also easier to get fans to come to a race that's taking place in your city, vs driving an hour to the middle of nowhere. The same thing in Indycar. Indycar packs the streets of Long Beach every day of the race...

Interest builds around possible changes to NASCAR schedule

I've been to a couple of street races for both IMSA and Indycar in the past, but none of those hold the problem of parking like Chicago does/will. Last street race I went to was Long Beach in 2016 for Indycar/IMSA and what I found was easiest was just to Uber to the track and back from the hotel.

Interest builds around possible changes to NASCAR schedule

That track layout looks absolutely awful. I don't see any real passing opportunities. Somebody want to set an over/under on millions in crash damage from this?

Interest builds around possible changes to NASCAR schedule

If they keep Road America and add Chicago street race, then I love it. If they remove the best road course in North America for a boring street circuit, then I'll hate it.

    NASCAR - Television Ratings Thread

Interesting that the by far worst race of the year for SRX, got the highest viewership. But that's good to see stability for SRX. Good number for Cup, last years race being rain-effected isn't a great comparison, but up is good.
