But the costs of things haven't come down. They aren't going to. Gasoline is one of the few commodities that fluctuates. Engine parts, components, salaries, etc. aren't coming down. Teams need more money to operate and turn a profit. These teams aren't in it to break even.

How much have costs gone up since the current charter agreement was reached. I know they've changed the weekend schedules by cutting out a day teams are at the track, the sealed engines, and other reductions. But the cost of parts have gone through the roof, not to mention an increase for crews...

Until I see what was proposed and what the holdouts are wanting, I'm not going to blame one side or the other. Racing is in an interesting spot. Younger people don't care about cars and therefore don't care much for racing. Unless that turns around, all sides better be careful how they approach...

NASCAR needs to revisit their former rule where a driver had to be in top 30 in points to get into the playoffs with a win. I can't remember if Austin Dillon was, or still is, outside the top 30. Harrison Burton is. Drivers like this should not be taking playoff spots that run much better than...

NASCAR needs to be in SoCal. I don't understand why something can't be done to improve Irwindale Speedway so it can host Cup and Xfinity races.
