Read slow. People were upset with Dillon on this forum. No one that I recall wished for his death. In the last hour or so I have read wishes for Hamlins death, and threats of physical harm. Yes people were mad at Dillon. I didn't say you said anything.

Some of the comments on here are truly pathetic. I haven't been on here in a long time. Now I remember why. Sad to see "fans" saying some of the stuff displayed here. We don't know Ryans condition, and folks wish for death for Hamlin, or at least a chance to harm him physically? That says a lot...

Seems to me when Dillon turned Almirola on the last lap, a lot of folks said "it's just racin'". But when the condition of a driver is unknown, there's a need to blame. They're headed to the checkers at Daytona, every man for himself. It's the nature of the beast. Don't get me wrong, I HATE...

Harry Gants win in the Spring race at Darlington in 1989 was huge for him. His last win prior to that was the Fall race at North Wilkesboro in 1985. It ended a long drought for the Skoal Bandit.

Bobby Allison and David Pearson are tied in my book. Bobby did more with nothing than any driver in any era. Never really settled into a stable ride, yet won 84 races and a title. Pearson was the epitome of cool. Had a knack for being around the front when it mattered. Just my opinion, that's all.

My checks from Daytona are still showing up on a regular basis. I'm still shilling and chilling.

Good racing = Good crowds. Bad news for death bedders. NASCAR is on an upswing in my opinion. After wandering aimlessly in the desert for a while, they seem to be finding their way again. It's all about the on track product. It's getting better and better.

10. NASCAR gets an A+ for a fantastic weekend. Somebody is doing something right. Nice crowd.
