Where does the NHRA go next?

On aircraft carriers they use arresting cables to stop the planes when they land. The resistance of the cables are set for the different types of planes, depending on their weight, and landing speed. Some tracks already have catch nets at the end of the strip. By integrating the arresting cables...

    Human or mechanical acceleration?

You are describing traction control. There are many ways to do it, but in the NHRA it's illegal. The clutch is really the only difference between a win, and a loss. Right now some teams run six disks, and others are running five. There is more adjustments with six disks, but some say those...

    tatiana-calderon to race alpha romero

The article doesn't say much about her history. I haven't heard of her, but there are many good drivers that I haven't heard of. Hope she does well, it would be interesting how the other drivers treat her.

I want the white and black hats to return to NASCAR

I don't have a favorite manufacturer, I don't pull for, or against, any particular driver, so why do I watch? I don't care if a driver wins by a tenth of a second, or laps the field. (Which can't happen because of various things.) I don't watch because I want to see crashes, so why do I watch? I...

    Questions About F1 Drivers

F1 drivers are usually liked by the people of the country they are from. Everybody else usually hates them, especially if they are successful.

Is Kyle Petty the new Mikey?

Half of the people were going to be pissed no matter what. One half would be because they didn't let them race to the checkered. The other half would be pissed because NASCAR isn't consistent in why a yellow is thrown. Myself, I would rather have consistency, because things would the same for...

Chad Knaus to crew chief for Byron in '19

The 48's problems started when they went to the low downforce cars. With the high downforce cars of next year, I believe the 48 would return to being more successful again. Without that partnership, I think the 48 will lose some of that edge. Byron does need a new crew chief, but I don't think...

    NASCAR Death Bed

Jimmie troubles started when they went to low downforce cars. Next year High downforce cars will be back. I think he will be back to his old self.

Lucky dog, and cars multiple laps down thoughts....

With 20 or less laps to go, if there is a yellow, everybody gets all their laps back. No, that probably wouldn't work either. I like the idea of no lucky dog. If you want your lap back, pass the leader. If they didn't give points for 21st through 40th, there would be no need for the rolling...

    I didn't think I understood you correctly.

Lucky dog, and cars multiple laps down thoughts....

Then couldn't the driver that is more than one lap down, purposely drop back behind the leader, then maintain his position ahead of the first car a lap down? I'm not sure I understand what you are saying, but I gave it a shot.

    F1: Round 17 Suzuka

I do not doubt his abilities, but you could have put anybody on the grid in that car, and they could have won the championship. Probably not by as many points as he did, but still.

    Roval Bonehead

IMO he was going for the win. I believe every driver that's out there would do the same. At the same time In his eagerness to get that win, he overestimated how much of a chance there was to pull off that move successfully.

    F1: Round 17 Suzuka

I disagree. His cars have been the GOAT.
