    Chase Elliott

I was there, he can flat out drive. I’d like to see the other drivers go 450 laps with no power steering!

    Chase Elliott

Can’t believe no one has mentioned the job Chase did getting his lap back by spinning out a lapped car, it was so smooth Nascar didn’t say anything. Don’t tell me the kid’s not smart.

Bonehead of the Race - Bristol I

Honorable mention to Ryan Preece for thinking he needed to stay on the lead lap 25 laps into the race. If you get caught that fast, you probably don’t need to worry about it.

    2019 Bristol I -- Food City 500 -- Pre-Race Thread

You will love Bristol at night, I live in Gatlinburg. Traffic can be bad that time of year, but if you use the Waze app that will not be an issue. I would book your room soon as hotels will fill up quick. It takes me one hour and fifty minutes to the track. Have fun

What Do you Think of the New Package?

Sliding and spinning cause more tire wear, these cars have more down force and less horsepower, thus less wear. No?

    Chase Elliott

In the future I don’t think he will have a problem moving people out of the way, he was better at the first of the runs yesterday.

    Chase Elliott

After Martinsville, I think it’s clear Chevrolet’s problem has more than just straight line speed problem. Chase was good all day but no one else figured in the race. Just wandering if any changes are coming for the bow ties?

Gustafson said the problem is straight line speed, that’s to much drag in the car.

3.5 It seems since the stages are set there really isn’t any chance for strategy to come into play, stages are very anti climatic.

Pit Road speed rule to be observed

Why was the guy on pit road, just make sure pit road is clear and letem go. There doesn’t need to be a rule about everything.

so why did nascar seem cooler in the 80's? broadcast was way better!!

In 1985 I went to the Bristol night race, first Nascar race ever. We purchased general admission tickets which gave us access to pit road, we walked down pit lane, cars were being worked on pre race. We were 3 feet from the cars, hoods up, no security in sight just crew members working on the...

    Team Orders?

I thought Denny’s spotter asked him if he would start on top that Kyle would let him down, Denny said he was good with that as long as Kyle would hold up his end of the deal. I don’t care if either of these drivers ever win another race, but Kyle is a lot better on restarts than Denny. JMO

Bonehead of the week: Daytona 500

Race control for not restackacking the line up twice when people were starting in the wrong spot. Larson pitted before pit road was open, he should have been at the back when Stenhouse ran over him.

These races should have only been 10 laps long, nobody wants to race.
