I'm not sure what has changed but the first clean up in turn 1&2 was pathetic, and after each stage the cautions seem extended which I don't understand, seems like it should be like a quickie yellow 3 laps and turn them loose. Does anyone else feel the same?

That's the way Bill was, later that year he could have moved Dale and won the night race but Bill didn't race that way.

Kenny and Keith had their best success when Rodden was the engineer and Francis was the CC, when Rodden left prior to the 2014 season is when the team went down hill. The car never seems to come off the truck fast and Rodden hasn't been able to make the car better.

Is going to get Kasey Kahne fired, I used to listen to Kasey on scanner all the time and Rodden never seems to make the car better. Nascar is going the wrong way, no restrictor plates, make the engines unlimited and every race should be 500 miles or laps. 100,000 fans went to watch a 20 lap race at Daytona in the eighties and it wasn't because they were running together, people wanted to see how fast they could go.

Four segment wins equal 1 race win as far as points go, there is a possibility someone doesn't win a race makes it to the last race and finishes highest and wins the championship. It seems like it might enable someone not winning a better chance to win it all. Maybe they should split race...

Kevin Harvick after 2 races has the points lead after finishes of 22 and 9. This looks like it could possibly have a Matt Kenseth feel to the championship. I understand trying to spice up racing during the race but with an average finish above 15 should not equal a point lead.

I watched the 1992 Busch clash yesterday and the stands were almost full even though it was a very short race. This past fall I went to the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte, paid $55 for seats in the middle of turn 3&4, there was hardly no one there so there is a problem. Drivers didn't complain...

There's doesn't seem to be much "grey" area where teams can make gains to get ahead of other teams. Nascar wants an even playing field but it's at the expense of someone finding something and having an extended streak of success until the rest of the field catches up.

I could see a 2 day show like they do for bristol night, same day means 1 practice quals and race, not sure that will make for better races. Plus 2 day cup show still brings money for communities.

I'm not for changing charlotte to a road course, people complain the racing is bad, then change the cars not the tracks. If they want another road course then add road America or some other true road course. IMO road races have the fewest competitive passes in the top ten than ovals. If you want...
