    Indy stands.....damn

I remember the excuse Nascar made about leaving Rockingham was about attendance even though the races looked like this, yet they still go to Indy every year............... and they can barely get 50k people there..........

WHERE ARE YOU KASEY KAHNE FANS AT?

Proud Kahne fan here and very happy he won this race and basically secured the #10 car next year

    SILLY SEASON 2018

I think Kahne just locked up a ride in the #10 next year (Hopefully they rebrand it to the #9)

Nascar should lessen the rules and give teams and manufactures more freedom

go back to the pre 2003 rules and let the teams battle, give them and their manufacture the freedom to alter the car without all the rules bogging them done, let Nascar be like Sports Car racing and F1 and just give them more freedom

Eric Jones to the #20 in 2018

Kahne to the #77, I still think Kahne has talent and him going to FRR with Truex can revive his career Kenseth to drive for HMS or Jr Motorsports next year (assuming they move to cup)

Where will Mat land for 2018?

i am going to predict Matt Kenseth will drive the #94 DeWalt next year for Jr Motorsports and Jr will run the #8 Limited schedule with Budweiser returning (I Hope) If that does not happen then Matt will drive the #5 DeWalt and Byron will drive the #88/25 with Axalta

    NASCAR Death Bed

I wish we did not have stage racing, but the Gen 6 cars package is soo awful that the stage racing is making the racing somewhat better. If Nascar had a better package like what they had with the Gen 4 cars (and let the manufactures actually compete and have unique ride heights etc...) we...

    SILLY SEASON 2018

Erik Jones is the future and the #20 is open for 2018. If Joe Gibbs is not going to give Jones a top ride, someone else will. That Leaves Kenseth without a ride for 2018 and Kenseth would be a good fit for a couple seasons (and keeping the #5 relevant) before Byron is ready to move up to cup.

    SILLY SEASON 2018

No one is bringing this possibility up, but Kenseth going to Hendrick to drive the #5 for 2018/19 #48 Jimmie Johnson #25 Alex Bowman #24 Chase Elliot #5 Matt Kenseth

Great Clips exercise option to end Kasey Kahne contract early

If Vickers can get medical clearance, he could drive for HMS 2018 while Byron develops Vickers drove for Hendrick in the past and last season while subbing for Stewart he drove very well, add in the fact he has a built in sponsorship it would work

Great Clips exercise option to end Kasey Kahne contract early

Kahne just seems like he was worn out at Hendrick Motorsports and him leaving the #5 Bowman to the 88/25 car and Menard to the #5 for a season before Byron takes up the ride is my prediction. As for Kahne, RCR and Chip Ganassi would be good spots for him to land

    'Majors' in NASCAR's future?

I got a radical idea just go back to the old points system (only difference is give more points to the winner) and remove the chase and all insane stages and point formats

    Rate the Race --- Charlotte

6 Would of been a 4 but the end of the race was entertaining and seeing Austin Dillon and the #3 back in victory lane was pretty cool and gives it a boost

Jenson Button covets NASCAR drive rather than Indy

http://www.racer.com/f1/item/140804-button-covets-nascar-drive-rather-than-indy Would not surprise me to see Button drive a Nascar someday, his F1 days are coming to a end and Button always had a interest in Nascar. Also it is a long shot but I would not rule Button out for driving the #43 at...

"Worst" Driver to win a Cup Championship in the past 30 years (1987-)

Average Finish was 16.4 and in his 5 full time seasons he never did worse than 15th in the points Adding that and the fact he drove for himself makes it very difficult to say he was the "weakest" champion

"Worst" Driver to win a Cup Championship in the past 30 years (1987-)

Again I am not saying any of those drivers are bad drivers, all I am trying to say is who is the weakest driver on that exclusive list.....

"Worst" Driver to win a Cup Championship in the past 30 years (1987-)

First of all any Nascar driver to win a cup title is a elite driver and I am not trying to throw shade at anyone's career. So from 1987 to today who in your opinion is the weakest driver to win a championship? This is not who had the weakest season and won a championship but is looking at a...
