I thought not throwing the yellow with the 4 on the apron was extremely dangerous. If they would have wadded them up when they were going by, the speed difference could've got someone killed.
Disappointed in the 29 car, no point in bringing it back for that performance.
This place is awesome, put it on the schedule! Trying to manipulate excitement rarely works and it didn't tonight but It could just as easily been beating and banging to the checker.
I only saw the last 40ish laps, but this place makes for great racing. Why are we messing around bringing dirt into bristol, ruining Atlanta, and road races every couple weeks when there are gems like this already in existence?
You can say that again. I see this often in businesses i deal with. People are plugged into positions because they have a degree that's supposed to qualify them. Real life rarely imitates hypothetical learning.
I honestly don't think the people in charge at Nascar are fans of the sport. It's...
The sport exploded during that time frame. And then, for whatever reason, they decided to change everything. They changed the cars, the way a champion is crowned, the tracks, basically everything that made the sport what it was.
I was hoping for better today. Cars that were garbage all day were almost unbeatable when strategy put them out front on old tires.
Still better than dirt on bristol or the abomination that Atlanta has become.
Turning bristol into a dirt race is akin to writers running out of ideas for your favorite sitcom and suddenly all the main characters are dating and having children with each other.
It's a completely different show and not at all what I loved.
