^Does NASCAR realize what they're losing here or is any track replaceable as long as markets overlap?

It's a shame to see the two-mile Fontana track going away. Hopefully NASCAR replaces it with another 1.5+miler instead of just downgrading to another short track.

^The garage lost its personality years ago, and with it the enthusiasm of fans (for now). TV ratings will probably increase throughout the decade with new major markets coming on board, but NASCAR's next peak is still a few years away when the younger generation of drivers mature and the new car...

GREAT race starting with 30 to go! This is the type of track where NASCAR really shines now with the new car, along with true road courses. More 1.5-2 milers should be added to the Cup series schedule in 2024 instead of street courses, bad short tracks.

Race the Hoboken street course that Formula One never ran 10 years ago.

Agreed...substitute Road America for Indy in 2024 or '25 if the revived rectangle doesn't work out.

Thank God for post-race inspection. It's unfortunate for KB #18 though, this was the Mars company's final "home" race...half of Pocono was decorated in M&M's logos yesterday including the fans.
