How long do you think the 2nd Daytona race will remain in August?

My brother in law owns the flea-market and he said anheuser busch limited their free tickets including the suite by 60% because it's not a popular event. They were mad because July is prime selling beer season and August us usually their 5th best selling season.

Daytona Firecracker Cup Series Night Pre-Race thread

Attendance has dropped since 2007. The city of Daytona has been begging the speedway to change the date because July 4th is already packed with tourists. Brings in extra dollars towards the end of the summer when hotels are about 75% packed. You went for 160k to 60k and only half of the suites...

ISC was disappointed with the crowd at Phoenix. With all the new sitting and suites they had about 5k unsold tickets. Ticket sales at isc tracks through the coke 400 are down about 3-7% at each track.

So true. I remember in the late 90’s and early 00’s every kid was a wcw or wwf fan. Kids would wear wrestling tees to school, we would have nwo vs dx in dodgeball. It was nonstop wrestling. At the ocean center they used to draw 16k. A few years ago I went to my first wwe event in 10 years. Only...

    The Attendance Thread

People my age (under 30) don’t have a problem spending money on a experience. Stadiums, arena’s and tracks are changing. There’s more suites, club areas and more open space to socialize. Young people want to watch, go back to the suite or the social area grab a beer and chat with their friends...
