Outside of the top five or six at any current point in the race, you wouldn't know most of those drivers were there today, except for the ones that crashed out.

I loved drag racing when I was a kid but the cars were much more innovative and unique back then. Now they're all cookie cutter. I realize NASCAR, IndyCar and other series are mostly like that now too but the racing is much more interesting than drag racing.

10 A much better race than I expected, better than I've seen at this track in a long time. Every championship player had their moments. It deserves a 10 on that alone.

The race was an 8 which I think is about as good as you can expect at this track. The finish was definitely a 10 though.

I linked to this earlier in the thread but here it is with much better looking wheels and tires on it. '73 Ranchero - 70K miles, pretty much all original and unmolested.

He showed real sportsmanship there. You don't expect him to like it but that's stock car racing and he took it like a man. I can't not like Cindric.

Hell that was a 10, he stuck that landing. Even the East German judges couldn't deny that. :laugh:
