23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

Took car design and production away from them, limit car inventory, shortened race weekends, mandated engines be used multiple weekends, put limits on crew allowed at the track, banned testing, banned individual wind tunnel time, standard pit guns, mandated that and CFD software teams use must...

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

But the argument they're trying to make is give us more money so we can make a profit and put drivers in the car that don't bring money. It's never going to happen because teams will always spend more than they bring in. Despite nascars best efforts to save the teams money, they continue to...

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

The on track product wouldn't be worse and the argument could be made it might actually be better if everyone spent less. Like I said it only cost that much to be competitive because it's an arms race. The more money you spend on these things the more you science them out and the more the on...

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

It's all part of the cost of putting what they claim to be a competitive car on the track. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

The only reason they need to spend that amount is because its an arms race among owners. Nascar doesn't make teams run sim, buy the hawk eye system, buy million dollar crew training facilities.... Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

Isn't that what 23XI claims in the documents that it costs 18-20 a year to run a competitive team? Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

Nascar made this common car with all parts from 3rd party vendor in conjunction with and at the request of the team owners themselves. "Save us from ourselves " You can't have it both ways. My main argument is that nascar is not forcing teams to spend $20 mil a year on race cars. They're...

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

I still think at some point the ROI on buying a charter isn't worth it. But without seeing the pay outs we'd never know. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

But it makes the financial hardship argument impossible considering they say they'd compete for less than what was offered Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

Other thing I find interesting is that they say 32 charters. One would have to wonder how long SHR is going to sit around on these charters before someone else gets a good deal on them?

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

These guys might have shot themselves in the foot by saying they plan on competing next year even if they have to do it as an open car

Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

You'd have to assume they get some charter money for showing up and attempting to make the race

    todays bonehead

I can't remember which podcast I was listening to earlier this week and they made the point that since teams know they get 17 pounds per race they do their best to take as much of that as they can. They mentioned that I believe last year teams were using heavier gases to air tires for prerace...

I thought anyone eliminated could still make it to 5th in points?

So it's ok to cheat then as long as the driver isn't aware of it? LOL!

Knowingly or not the driver still gets an advantage from the illegal car

    Stealing Intellectual Property

My guess was Spire just for the fact that they seemed to have really picked up lately, especially with Zane. If it was LMC I would have expected better performance from that group, don't really see an improvement there.

That was the previous generation of car. Now they all have the same components, with the exception of the body panels.
