Monster Energy's status as a sponsor of NASCAR

Haas won't be in F1 4 years from now. He thought he could build a winner on the cheap by using Ferrari parts for everything, but F1 is more complicated than that.

Monster Energy's status as a sponsor of NASCAR

Maybe. Don't know if NBC is actually losing money on NBCSN or not.

Danica Patrick won’t return to Stewart-Haas in 2018

I don't think it's that as much as it is the never ending increase in the cost to compete. If a sponsorship cost 2 million like it used to, there would be plenty of takers.

LOL the hall of fame isn't based on Stats, it's a popularity contest.

Danica Patrick won’t return to Stewart-Haas in 2018

Are you guys kidding? She's a guaranteed hall of famer. The only question is if she gets in on the first ballot.

Danica Patrick won’t return to Stewart-Haas in 2018

Does it really matter? Drivers are measured by how many races they win, not if they ran 20th vs 42nd.

Danica Patrick won’t return to Stewart-Haas in 2018

When looking back on her accomplishments in NASCAR it doesn't matter all that much if you were 20th or 25th. The difference is minimal. Danica will be remembered for being the first female to make a go at NASCAR's premier series in the modern era. They will remember that she ran just about...

2017 NASCAR Season - Television Ratings Thread

SMERCONISH is a radio talk show host. He has a show on Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM on CNN, and they show a repeat at 6 PM. So, yes, NASCAR got beaten by a news talk show rerun on cable TV.

Danica Patrick won’t return to Stewart-Haas in 2018

Danica Patrick won’t return to Stewart-Haas in 2018

Running 20th on a consistent basis is nothing to sneeze at, and maintaining a sponsorship in a sport that's been male dominated is also an accomplishment.

Danica Patrick won’t return to Stewart-Haas in 2018

Danica broke a lot of new ground for women in NASCAR. Being able to maintain a ride for multiple years is quite an accomplishment. Here is to hoping more women follow in her footsteps.

NASCAR, where have all your fans gone?

It won't be addressed until it collapses like Indy did. Too many vested interests to create real change

This won't reduce costs and will lead to worse racing. See F1 for details.

Hamlin's wins at Darlington both encumbered

It's actually really easy to stop cheating. If a car is caught cheating, you suspend the entire team for the next race. Problem solved.

You measure talent by comparing the driver's results to his team-mates

    NASCAR Considering Removal of Jackmen?

I love F1 Pit stops. One lug nut, as many guys as you want over the wall, in and out in less than 4 seconds. Then again, I like how F1 handles restarts a lot better than NASCAR's manipulation of the race via pit stops.

2017 NASCAR Season - Television Ratings Thread

It's pretty straightforward. Sort the rating by age group. Nielsen goes more granular than this, but in general these are the age groups that advertisers talk about How advertisers view the groups: Age 18 to 34 - These are the people that advertisers desperately want to reach. Their buying...
