Several years back this forum was extremely hard on RWR. I was always hopeful they were building a foundation for better things to come. Looks like that happened. Before RWR I was really pulling for TBR, Tommy Baldwin Racing but he wasn’t able to make it work.

Blaney clearly admitted this after the race. He said he backed off and actually lost a position or two during the final laps because he did not want to push it and possibly cut a tire down which would have jeopardized his advancement.

Regarding buying a charter, the teams clearly knew the conditions of the charter agreement when purchased. That's business, risk, and speculation. Every day businesses buy what the think would be an appreciating asset but it fails to materialize. Sports gambling...I am not understanding where...

One of the classiest guys to ever put on a racing helmet. I wished he could have gotten a few cup wins, but that wasn't in the cards. His Busch series win at Charlotte was one of the most memorable races I have ever attended and it was simply amazing to hear how loud the crowd was cheering his win.

Just went back and checked. For three nights attending the spring race... In 2015 I booked the Econolodge in Bristol and paid a total of $179.99. In 2016 the Comfort Inn Johnson City for $231.85. In 2021 I booked the Quality Inn in Bristol for $241.02 I always do this with Atlanta as well...

Why? I am thinking a lot has to do with the involvement of Penske. We see what happened when Blaney ran the 21. I think it will be similar with Berry. Berry has proven, at least in my mind, that he is fully capable of running up front and competing for wins. I hope this was a significant factor...

This is all so entertaining that I wished it was going on during the off season. Funny thing is we all have known the outcome since the beginning. ALL teams will be signed and racing by Daytona. Never has been a question in my mind. FRM and 23XI is just providing a bit of additional entertainment.

Sadly Bristol is notorious for this. When I went several years ago I booked the day the NASCAR schedule came out and got a very reasonable rate before they raised their prices
