Enough Is Enough Full Season Championship.

For anyone who even remotely thinks NASCAR would eliminate the playoffs...it ain't gonna happen. Actually I can see it further developing into more gimmicky competition to where each weeks race during the entire season will count towards some type of mini championship... Don't forget we have...

    Michigan International Speedway Pre-Race Thread

If they forecast rain it will rain. If they forecast sunny, it will probably rain too. NASCAR 2024. Enjoy Michigan as much as a Buckeye can.

If NASCAR is serious about intentionally wrecking other drivers...

Can you objectively define "intentionally wreck"? As long as it's not subjective I might get on board. We have seen what happens when race control makes subjective calls during the race.

Bonehead of the Race: Richmond II

Me…for actually believing we were going to see a race run without a natural caution and the fastest car win the race.

Johali's Rate the Cup race --- Richmond

Ditto These cautions at the end have reached a new level of ridiculousness. 7

    World of Outlaws 2024

This girl has been through an incredible journey. Having followed her for quite some time I wonder if she is still going to have that drive in her for continued 410 (sprint car) racing?

    The Announcers Thread

This all is just going way over my head...In the late 60s and early 70s it was quite easy to follow when we checked our weekly TV guide and saw that there would be a 20 minute snippet on Saturday at 5:00 pm on ABS's Wide World of Sports that only cost us the price of a coat hanger.

    Kyle Larson Appreciation Thread

I was just thinking of the possible additional media requirements/time for him to fulfill with a pole which would keep him from getting out of there as soon as possible. Heck, he probably will make sure he isn't even in the top ten...

    Kyle Larson Appreciation Thread

I am willing to wager a decent sum that Larson will not qualify on the pole for Richmond. That looks like a very tight schedule.

    Silly Season 2025

Really hoping the 12th prospect develops into a solid cup driver...Corey Day. I miss the days when established top dirt drivers would get a shot at NASCAR. It didn't work out many times but it was great watching guys like Kinser, the Swindells, Purvis and Combs get a chance at the bigs. I wonder...

    Misc. Sprint/Midget Racing

This was my first ever visit to Skagit Speedway for their 360 Summer Nationals. What a great venue with unbelievable racing action. The final night saw Dominic Gordon and Trey Starks battling for the lead for the first 15 laps. I mean these guys were slicing, dicing and sliding with jaw dropping...

    Denny Hamlin Appreciation Thread

Denny has improved a bit with maturity. He still has his moments and I really am not sure we know the real Hamlin. I think a case can be made for Kez as he “quietly” has resurrected a dying team

    NASCAR needs timed finishes

Exactly, that's what I love about that idea. If they can't get the track completely clean just bring out the fire truck and hose blast the track down!

    NASCAR needs timed finishes

I am for timed cautions with a countdown clock. Give NASCAR up to 5 minutes to clean up an accident and then throw the green. Back to "timed races" I am not a fan of this idea. I can remember looking forward to the 500 mile race at Dover because it almost always took 5 hours, with a bit of pre...

    Kyle Larson Appreciation Thread

Yes! I am not aware of any true NASCAR driver winning the Indy 500. If that happens (and even if it doesn't) I would argue he is the greatest driver of all time.

    Bonehead of the week: Indy

Is the 81 million record adjusted for inflation, population density and election day proximity or is it just a number used as a benchmark?

    Bonehead of the week: Indy

I am going with Biden, then NBC, then NASCAR Race Control, then the driver of the #8 car (can't remember his name).
