I'd imagine sponsors and advertisers want as many eyes as possible. Advertisers are willing to spend big $$$ on super bowl commercials, even though viewers can watch it for free.

NASCAR may be getting a bunch of money from these TV & streaming contracts, but they're going to lose money from a shrinking fan base. As cable prices skyrocket, cable subscriptions are plummeting. And, they're expecting fans to pay for Prime in addition to cable.

What's the difference between this tire debacle y'all seem to love and the one at Indianapolis years ago that y'all hated? Yes, the racing is much better, but it's absurd there's a real possibility of running out of tires.
