Time to flame away @ Chocolate

IDK what racehub is and IDK if they had qualified people asking who the GOAT was but Dale in 5th place seems odd as you would expect him to be first or second. Arguing with people about the GOAT or top 5 is futile as everyone has an opinion and that is all it is. As far a I am concerned the...

Monster Energy's status as a sponsor of NASCAR

IMO Nascar should forego a title sponsor for its series unless the sponsor is willing to make a commitment of at least 5 years.

Interest builds around possible changes to NASCAR schedule

There is no such thing as a bad race, all the commercials for the broadcasts are sold and the racing has never been better than today so why ruin a good thing by making unnecessary changes?.....:)

Monster Energy's status as a sponsor of NASCAR

With Nascar having hat in hand they are not in any position to dictate terms to Monster so what is the holdup?

    NASCAR - Television Ratings Thread

Texas was one of the few races that didn't lose a significant amount of viewers in 2017 versus 2016. I believe last year's race had 4.7 million viewers so maybe they can repeat a good showing. If things do carry on as they have this year then the race could potentially lose about 700,000 lookers...

    Take yourself back to 2013...

The biggest surprise for me has been the large erosion of the fan base. I thought things would have leveled off before now but the slide continues unabated. Carl Edwards retiring did not surprise me as driving in cup may seem glamorous but with sponsor commitments and the length of the season...

Texas should be able to quadruple the ratings and viewership over Martinsville.

    NASCAR Death Bed

If anyone thinks the manufacturers have been neutered now just wait until spec engines become an option for cup teams. It has to be that way as if VW or Kia want to get into cup they will want to do so quickly and cheaply and what better way than to stick some decals on a spec car and throw in a...

    NFL 2018-19

It has been known for at least a few years that lasting physical injury and brain trauma can occur due to playing football. If these are concerns for parents of kids or of young men then do something safer like lawn bowling or even Nascar where a guy like Derrike Cope can race around and not...

    NASCAR Death Bed

I think it takes 2 Apple Jacks box tops and a sawbuck to sponsor a truck race.

Showdown at the SHR Corral: The Sequel (starring "Outlaw" Busch)

What you say makes sense as I think both drivers would like to be back providing they are not working for rookie wages. Also with Haas self sponsoring so many races he would want drivers that give him the best chance to win that day. I expect we will see Haas on the 10 car at some point as I...

    Taxpayer Funded Sports Facilities

What do you think of the benefit Nissan Stadium has been for the city of Nashville SOI? There are stories like that all over the country.

    BK Racing uh oh

Get "The Bomb" out of your vocab as it is like totally 90's dude. I never said foreclosures were exciting or the bomb but I did say it will be interesting to see what charters are worth on the open market. Are they worth 5-10-15-20 million?

    BK Racing uh oh

It won't be exciting but it will be interesting to find out what the ACV is for the charters. Hopefully they will be worth in the millions.

NASCAR stages road course test at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Rusty Wallace was never my fave but I had the utmost respect for his driving skill and if he was to offer suggestions on a new track I would listen as his opinion would carry weight.

Any guesses as to what the charters will be worth on the open market?

Kyle Petty on “Most Non-Aggressive Martinsville Race”

You are right on as it is beyond me how anyone could construe Kyle's remarks as meaning "gooning it up and taking themselves and others out of the race" SMH.

Kyle Petty on “Most Non-Aggressive Martinsville Race”

Nascar needs to allow races to continue to unfold naturally as that is the most important thing if you you really wish to be considered a sport and I agree that there are many different types of race fans and that includes the group that nothing can make happy and the group that thinks there is...
