Very true . We may be the only ones who know that the only similarity to a 'developmental series ' is the lower price that the sponsors want to pay . They still want an experienced driver , crew chief , pit crew , and equipment , but they just don't want to pay extra for it .

Sprint was kinda blah . I didn't sense the Monster excitement nor the Winston type marketing .

Any additional brands would be a big boost for Nascar . It would focus new attention from the press and likely peak the interest their customers . Downside is their desire to win right away , and to my mind that can only involve Penske .
