Interesting prediction. Was the final result of the Richmond race (that Austin Dillon won) determined during the hearings or meetings that were held by NASCAR during the days following the race ? Or did the meetings simply determine that Dillon wasn't eligible for the playoffs despite winning...

Partly because of the Richard Childress factor here, I see nothing more than a monetary fine and a one race suspension. What with KFB having such a crap season, taking the playoff spot from Dillon cuts deeper than NASCAR is willing to go.

Indeed, the caution got thrown after Dillon wrecked Hamlin. plain as day. But when it didn't get thrown after the Logano wreck, one could have assumed that the finish would play out under green. Don't understand throwing a caution when they did but not when Logano got slammed.

Apparently sometime after Dillon wrecked Hamlin but before Reddick and Wallace were able to pass Hamlin, thereby giving Hamlin the second place finish. Interesting that a caution wasn't warranted by Logano getting wrecked, but instead of letting the finish play out under green, it came out...

I've seen parts of some of the true sporting events but it still bothers me that NASCAR took a sabbatical for the sake of things like synchronized swimming and break dancing. :boxing:
