Everyone said the same thing about Ross Chastain. "His stats suck!". Well, he was driving crap boxes his whole career. He gets a good ride and now look at him. I think Preece is as talented as Chastain, he just hasn't had the opportunity.

I think the Chase for the Cup was great. I wouldn't be upset if they went back to that format.

I don't think having three races were drivers have to get out of the way is a good idea.

I thought SHR had put together a fantastic line-up with plenty of upside. It's a shame that they decided to close shop, because I could see them improving every year to the point of having multiple playoff drivers. I think they all deserve another chance; all are excellent drivers.

Perhaps it didn't show in the stats, but Preece was consistently running inside the top 10, top 15 during the last several races. I think he's worthy of a good ride, Preece is one of my favorite drivers so that may be my bias getting in the way. First 5 playoff races: 12th, 18th, 9th, 7th...

Something that wasn't talked about was Preece's performance during the playoffs. He was incredible, perhaps the best stretch of his career. I think he'll be great in that 60 car.

I'm pretty happy with a top 10. It was close, one more race and I end up on the outside looking in. It was a fun playing with everyone and looking forward to next season. Once again, congrats to @Spotter22 and thanks @pjmolo.

With the way things transpired, that Ineligible was probably a blessing on disguise. He was able to save a quality driver for later. Funny how things work sometimes.

Very cool! Bobby Hillin Jr. was a very talented racer. It must have been a great experience to be a NASCAR spotter.

Joey was a lock for the HOF when he won his first title. With his 3rd title, he's entering top 15 all-time great status.
