I think Sanchez' ceiling is much higher than Kligerman. He'll probably start at about the same level, but eventually, I expect him to contend for wins.

The fact that Big Machine Racing was able to get a prospect like Nick Sanchez shows you how good of a job Parker Kligerman did in that ride. That's a huge signing for BMR.

This race should be considered a crown jewel. And with the new tires, it ought to be an interesting one. Looking forward to it.

I think the struggles had more to do with driver line-ups. Clint Bowyer was a career journeyman who only managed a couple wins with SHR. Aric Almirola was there just to collect checks. Losing Kurt Busch was a huge blow to SHR in terms of performance. That car was never the same after he left.

I disagree. In their second season with Ford, SHR was the winningest team in the Cup series. The only thing SHR didn't accomplish with Ford was a championship. Switching was a wise decision for them.

The same applies to pretty much everyone outside the top 10. Montoya did great, tire issue wasn't his fault.

I'd rather have double file restarts over having lapped cars in front of the field, no-brainer.

I'm baffled at all the negativity surrounding the GWC's. I vividly remember people complaining about races ending under yellow. Like, people were outraged whenever it happened. GWC's aren't perfect, but they sure are better than having races end under yellow. Today's exciting finish doesn't...
