I like the playoffs, I just think the win and your in needs to be dropped or at least have it that you have to be in the top 25 to qualify for them. Even better would be get rid of win and your in and give a larger points bonus for winning a race.

5 playoff points is not insignificant. It's the same you get for winning a race. And the race that Larson missed had the potential to earn him 8 playoff points on top of the 5 he would have gotten over 2nd place in points.

Its still up in the air as to it costing him the title, but it certainly cost him the regular season points title.

Get rid of the win and your in, give the winner of a race like 50 bonus points (not playoff points). That gives enough incentive to win but doesn't make someone 29th in points get a playoff spot. I'm fine with the rest of the playoffs without win and your in.
