    How about that Ryan Newman

My apologies if you deemed my comments hostile, perhaps they were a bit harsh. However, if you're here as a first year fan, after watching that incredibly exciting Chase...and then say how it's championships are "meaningless"...then why are you still here? That was some awesome racing, and...

    How about that Ryan Newman

Winning races doesn't make you champion. The entire season of work does. Points system aside, how could you possibly comment with any credibilty on the past 10 years of racing when you just said this was the first year you've followed it? It's been changed almost every year for the past half...

    How about that Ryan Newman

Cool, peace out. So after one season of NASCAR, you've deduced that the Championship is "meaningless" and how little NASCAR values winning. Spot on sir

0 Ride Height ---The X Factor

Definitely agree with the first part of your post, but certainly not the bolded. How much money these guys make doesn't affect how competitive they are. In fact, I'd wager that most would trade a lot of their fortunes for a championship and prolonged success. Long before they became millionaires...

    Your 2014 Sprint Cup Champion!!

I think he deserves it based on his entire body of work across all 3 major series, not just as a driver but as a team owner. Very few people have accomplished as much as Harvick has across the board.

Ryan Blaney focusing on Cup in 2015

Yes the have always prepared excellent cars, however the Wood Bros performance has been on the same level of their Roush counterparts the last couple years. Obviously Penske were way ahead of them this past year, but the question remains whether or not the switch in alliances will actually...

Ryan Blaney focusing on Cup in 2015

Will the cars be prepared by Wood Bros or Team Penske? The Wood Bros intermediate and short track program over the last couple years has been mediocre at best, will that offer Blaney on opportunity to succeed? I think at the young age of 20, seat time should be the top priority. Is Team Penske...

    Your 2014 Sprint Cup Champion!!

I'm way late to this thread but Harvick definitely deserved it and he earned it the best way possible, by winning. IMO he's been the most underrated driver of the past decade. While he was at RCR he was constantly overshadowed by the Hendrick empire and other drivers. He finally broke through...

Ryan Blaney focusing on Cup in 2015

Ford would be very wise to keep this kid in the fold and develop him properly. Lord knows it's going to be a tough road ahead with Larson and Chase driving Chevy's.

Ryan Blaney focusing on Cup in 2015

I think it's a great idea that he's focused on getting more sponsorship and getting HIMSELF to Cup. From what I've seen so far, it doesn't look like Penske is going to give him much help in getting there. Sounds like Blaney is trying to develop himself as a driver, but he's in an organization...

    Fender Flares in 2015

I just don't understand why if they were flared out pre race they would fail inspection but not the post race inspection? I mean why wouldn't they just show up to the track with them flared out, if it was ok after the race?

Is AJ Allmendinger a Chase contender?

The original question was is he a contender to make the Chase. He did indeed make the Chase /thread

Who do you root for? The Driver, the organization, the manufacturer?

I root for all 3...I do find the competition between manufacturers very interesting although its certainly not like it was in the heyday. I've always had a keen interest in the technology side of the sport, so I really enjoy learning about the various nuances of the different manufacturers.

Will changes next year help Stewart?

Yeah I think when Tony feels he's ready, he'll be back in a dirt car. He loves racing too much to step aside totally. I always like Schraeder until a couple years ago. At the time he was driving the 32 car part time and gave an interview about how he was disappointed he couldn't go dirt racing...

Will changes next year help Stewart?

I still think the expansion hurt SHR, despite the 4 team winning it all. They had some very poor performances by the crews on pit road and that was across the board at SHR. As far as Tony is concerned, I don't buy the whole rules package doesn't suit his style. He's been around a long time now...

Will changes next year help Stewart?

Except when Tony's done, he's going straight to the Hall of Fame with his 3 championships and almost 50 Cup wins.

    How about that Ryan Newman

He consistently outran all the other RCR drivers when he was driving RCR equipment at Furniture Row. You must be one happy fan Pudge. Your boy Newman went on a hell of a run and put up a great fight. I've never been a fan of his but I've got to give credit where credit is due. He had an...
