Anyone see an explanation on the penalties last weekend about the pit guys not wearing eye protection? Never heard of this penalty before and all of a sudden multiple teams were nailed for it. Odd.

I thought the same too. The helicopter shots showed this is Vegas but it's still so dark you have to know the city to recognize anything.

I remember meeting him once at a Craftsman truck race and he was very friendly. You can tell when a person is genuinely nice and not just going through the motions.

It was a very good ending to the season. Happy with the racing and results. I always add an hour to NHRA recordings as they never seem to end in the allotted time.

10. Good clean racing and no late caution to screw things up. I was rooting for Blaney or Larson and Blaney raced hard to win the championship.

The last 2 years the Xfinity Series has come to Portland the paddock area is completely fenced off so you can't get near the cars. Last year the ARCA cars were in a separate area and we could get close to the cars and some of the crew members were very friendly and would talk to us. This year...

I hated flag football in gym class back in grade school. Can't see it being any better today.

They usually do a pretty good job of showing you all the highlights to catch you up. I get Peacock but sometimes am too busy to sit and watch all of it so rely on the final hours of coverage to get me up to date.

I'm happy to see Milwaukee back on the schedule but not happy to see Portland lose the Labor Day weekend race. Also think the back and forth across the US is bad planning. Gateway to Portland and back to Milwaukee?

Kind of glad this is the last race since everyone has forgotten how to drive.

I'm a big fan of Rosenqvist so glad to see him stay in the series. Also a fan of Pagenaud and hope he gets well soon.
