That was a hard race to watch. Too many commercials, too many wrecks, no flow. Happy with the outcome. Sure hope today is better. Has to be....I think.
After Bubba got married he seemed to be a bit more mellow and I thought with a baby on the way he'd become even more level headed but now I'm not too sure.
The long awaited report on John Force sure explains a lot from the past week. Real happy to read it sounds promising from here on out. At least that's what I'm getting out of it.
I was glad it was a good game. I was rooting for the Panthers just because I wanted to pick a team for no particular reason but by game 7 I didn't care who won as long as it was deserved. Both teams looked good.
The race was also on CNBC but I get that it's tough to know where to find races if you're not tuned in at the exact time they tell you where to watch it. I feel bad for the people who have recordings set and are out somewhere and have no idea what's happening.
Amazing how he makes it through these types of crashes and I'm so happy he does. I hate this happens to him as he still wins races so gotta be tough for him to quit.
But he can know he was still a winner if he does retire.
As a West coaster I miss those days of the early start times. Got to watch a race in the morning and be done by early afternoon and get on with my day.
Finally saw the Villeneuve Pironi movie on HBO. Know the story well but this documentary was very in depth with many interviews and much from Villeneuve's wife and kids. I still got a bit teary eyed when the crash that killed Villeneuve was shown. Amazing how it affected me after all these...
