    Team Tactics?

I think the big difference was that bump and runs, slide jobs and moving a driver is fine. But when you are underneath a guy with his car jacked up going into a turn, there was a 0% chance Elliott would make it out of the turn. Denny has been one of my favorite drivers in the past but I lost a...

    Truck RACE thread --- Talladega

Tried to find the race when it was on. FOX, FS1, FS2 all were showing other things. Did a search on the tv dvr feature and nothing came up. Don't know if I was the only one with this problem?

    SILLY SEASON 2018

Figured about as much. He was having a quiet season until he nearly cost Hamlin the Darlington win.

    2017 IndyCar Stuff

Man I love seeing all these guys interested in Indycar, especially those who went through Indy Lights. But I don't know who would get pushed out of the series. I really like this core of drivers Indycar has. Castroneves I feel Indycar still needs. Kanaan I have liked for years and I know his...

First year watching Nascar and what is your favorite season in Nascar since you started watching?

Been watching since 96 but my favorite season was probably 2002. The points championship was straight forward, the cars designs, the perfect balance of old school Nascar and modern Nascar. Veterans like Mark Martin, Bill Elliot, Rusty Wallace, Ricky Rudd and Dale Jarrett vs the young up and...

    NASCAR Dream Points System

No playoffs, you should just be given a 10 or 20 point bonus for each win

    Wow.

Sounds like a buffoon. I remember when Nascar was thriving about a decade ago and set the top 35 rule when 50 cars started showing up at all the races. A number of teams and sponsors left the sport because they couldn't get out of a hole.

Where will Mat land for 2018?

I would certainly hope not. Just from drivers who drove last year (2016) look at what we no longer have going into 2018. Jeff Gordon 93 Wins - 4 Championships - 3 Daytona 500's Tony Stewart 49 Wins - 3 Championships Dale Earnhardt Jr. 26 Wins - 2 Daytona 500's (No word if he will even run any...

Daytona 500's Ranked From Worst to First

I agree with you. They replay the 98 Daytona 500 quite often and it was not that competitive. 1999 was more competitive. But 2002 and 2001 were two of the most competitive and entertaining races I ever seen. 2001 unfortunately will never get credit as a great race because Dale Sr. died. But if...

    TV Shows

I watch a ton of tv, I watch all 4 of the CW super hero shows. I have to say CW shows seem to have a similar format. My one issue with Supergirl right now that I have, is there a main villain this season? From my best guess it is the Luther family but I haven't seen this weeks episode yet.

    2017 24 Hours of Daytona

I have had the race on mute while I been working, it's been under caution for a half hour. What's the longest they ran consecutively through a caution?
  16. wilson89

    The changes have arrived.

I actually like the idea that points carry over past the first round. I just am not a fan of breaking the races down into segments and having to throw mandatory cautions to end each stage.

    Big changes coming

Literally the only thing I can think of when year after year he continues to make these off the wall changes, is that he has to be on drugs. As far as I can tell the decisions went something like this. - Brian France is sitting in his office with a scarface mountain of blow on his desk. Rubs...

    Big changes coming

We already pretty much have that. If someone is to far ahead a phantom debree caution comes out right before the end of the race.

    Big changes coming

Probably be heat races. If it's anything like the Xfinity series it will just be driving around with no passing. Brian needs to stop trying to manipulate the racing and just let them race.

    NASCAR exploring weeknight races

I agree. Also I am not sure what attendance there going to have. When I was younger my parents would take me on Saturday to the closest track which is over 2 and half hours from here. We would get a hotel near the track and drive home Sunday after the race. I don't see anyway my parents would...
