    NASCAR exploring weeknight races

I don't think this is very smart. Putting a race on during a week night would put them in direct competition against weekly tv programing which yeah Nascar fans will watch but people who don't normally watch or just watch occasionally would most likely just watch normal programming.

    NASCAR, Rednecks & Millenials

I was born in 1989 and I am considered a millennial, even though I don't feel I am. I have been watching Nascar since the 1996 season. For a lot of people my age, are attention spans are a lot smaller than generations past. We grew up in a video game era and personally I have felt the effects of...

    Is Newgarden the guy?

I think the pressure is on him more so than even Simon when he joined Penske. I think if he were to win 2 championships and an Indy 500 in the next 5 years I would says it's a great success.

    Biffle Says Goodbye To Roush

Always liked Biffle but man this Roush team is in serious trouble. I originally thought it was a lack of talent that have prevented Stenhouse and Bayne from being competitive but this season even Biffle ran like garbage. I would hate to say it but the Roush team is really on the same level as...

Cannot Believe It's Tony Stewart's Last Race

First time I felt really old watching racing since I started watching back in the mid 90's. I remember watching Tony Stewart from when I was about 8 or 9 being called the best up and coming American driver. He was one of a few bright spots for the early IRL days and I still remember how awesome...

Jimmie Johnson - SEVEN time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion

It says a lot for a driver/team to win 7 championships in this era with so many competitive teams.

    Xfinity RACE thread --- Homestead

That was an ugly ending. I am not sure the #14 even wanted to be up there. I noticed when they hit the restart zone Sadler started to go and the 14 was just sitting there and when he did try to go it was just an ugly mess. Either way Suarez I feel like has flown under the radar most of the...

Penske expands Xfinity team for '17

I see more cup teams are interested in an Xfinity team now that they have a chase. I had a feeling small teams like the #39 this season would be in trouble when Cup teams realized how easily they could stuff a car in there chase. Honestly Nascar might be smart to have a 16 driver chase in the...

Danica Patrick on NASCAR schedule: 'We don't have any lives'

I just seen an interview this afternoon with Harvick where they asked him about being a father and he said that it's easy to have time with his family because he isn't working a 9-5 job everyday and can bring his family to the track to watch him race every week.

Chase round 1 - First four out?

I agree with those 4 Buescher's team has trouble cracking the top 20 most races so he is not a stretch Stewart is getting more aggressive I don't think that bodes well for him. McMurrary/Dillion runs around 10th to 15th most races which is good for points getting into the chase but not good...

    Make Xfinity Great Again

This, I would even suggest running a day race at a different venue the same day as a cup night race.

Who Drives The 88 In 2017 (if Junior Retires This Year)?

Daniel Suarez. He is still rough around the edges and probably a couple years away from being Cup ready but he has proved he can win and by the end of this year I think he will be a serious threat to win the Xfinity championship. He may struggle his first season but he can win once he gets...

IndyCar Grand Prix at The Glen

I really think both the Foyt drivers need to go. I was a big fan of Hawksworth during his rookie season and Sato when after he nearly won at Indy, but this season has just been dreadful. Sato is talented but he just can't hold it together for an entire race to get the finish. Hawksworth I have...

    Truck RACE thread --- Mosport

Just seen the incident what a crap bag move. I agree Stewart and Bowyer both made di*k moves but Stewart and Bowyer have also been around this sport for a while. Tony has a Dale Earnhardt type mean streak to him. If he thinks you raced him dirty your going to get it, either on the track or...

How many tracks have you been to?

Sonoma from 2002 to 2014 I went to every race Fontana Las Vegas Chicagoland Michigan I drove by Chicago Motor Speedway just prior to it being destroyed. I haven't been to many tracks since I have lived most my life in California, other than the time I spent in college in Michigan.

    Fantasy Predictor Cup: Michigan

I can participate for 2017. I wasn't around much this year because I was in the middle of a move. By the time I had time it was already mid season.

    2017 Verizon IndyCar Series schedule

I heard Robin Miller I think say Milwaukee couldn't even get 5,000 people to show up last time. I doubt there will ever be a race there again

Where would you build your new track?

    1. Quarter Mile, can be dirt or paved track I wouldn't mind either way. 2. Oregon or Washington. There isn't many tracks in that area of the country. 3. I wouldn't mind having something like the cup cars did a long time ago when there was like 6 or 7 coke and pepsi cars in the same race or the...

    College Football 2016

I usually just pay attention to the Big 10, PAC 12, Mountain West and MAC divisions. The USC vs Alabama game to start the season has me very excited. I don't know much about Alabama this year but they have been the best for a while now. USC seems to be excited and expecting big things but I...
