    How will NASCAR enforce this?

Do we still get a bloomin onion tomorrow if the win is encumbered?

Rate The Cup Race: Las Vegas I

4, hopefully next week is an improvement, because this season is starting out worse than last year.

    When will Chase Elliott win?

Restarting like he has lead in the tires, isn’t helping his cause much.

    When will Chase Elliott win?

As early as this Sunday, as late as never, and everything in between. What I don’t like seeing are guys like Dillon and stenhouse now racking up two wins, yet everytime Elliott has a good pitch, he whiffs. Martinsville is a good example of him, self sabotaging a race winning car.

2018 Las Vegas - Kobalt 400 - Pre Race Thread

Vegas, also Daytona, typically attracts fans from all 50 states, since Vegas tends to be the cheapest flight one can book from their airport, has abundant lodging, and the track is just outside of Vegas. Even 15 years ago it was the only track you didn’t have to break the bank buying a travel...

Monster Energy's status as a sponsor of NASCAR

I couldn’t even get the nascar links to load on my phone. I don’t think it is possible to have a stranger relationship between a series sponsor and the league it is promoting. I will truly be shocked if they’re the cup sponsor next year.

Monster Energy's status as a sponsor of NASCAR

Tell them take a hike. They are trying to run out the clock so when they give nascar a low ball offer, nascar will have no choice but to either take the low ball, or go a season sponsor less.

    Rate The Cup Race: Atlanta

4 bunch of drivers, driving a crap track.

NASCAR's most valuable teams and highest paid drivers

Exactly, who is taking over for Penske, Hendricks, Gibbs, Childress, Roush, and haas when they can no feed themselves, let alone run a race team?

NASCAR's most valuable teams and highest paid drivers

Another reason to hate these drivers. Their passion for the sport goes no further than their paycheck. A lot of it might be the current owners preventing them from starting their own race teams, also. But none of them reinvest back into the sport. Junior, Gordon, Johnson, harvick, and Busch...

2018 Atlanta - Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 - Pre Race Thread

Serious question, what is stopping teams from bring an extra backup car and a skeleton crew down to Atlanta and giving one of the kids in the truck or xfinity chance to run the big race? Now is the time to do it, since there is pretty good chance they’re making the 40 car field.

The best driver ever from your home state

From North Dakota, we have Floyd Roberts, who was born in Jamestown North Dakota and won the 1938 Indy 500, and Donny Schatz who decided the world of outlaws is all the higher he needed to take his career.

    More clueless NASCAR coverage.

Plus the number went away for over a decade. The number ‘3’ nowadays is like when a sound mixer or keyboardist carries on a band name after the original members of the band are either dead or quit years ago.

    NASCAR - Television Ratings Thread

2014 is the race junior won after a 6 or 8 hour rain delay. I remember it fondly because it was the one and only time I was at a race junior won, and it was the 500. We ended up abandoning 2 from our group because they were “too cold” to go back to the track. My brother and I didn’t return to...

    Nascar is hypocritical

Plus concussions. You can wrap the car and driver in bubblewrap, and it won’t lessen the risk.

And now we only have to wait three, five, and seven more weeks until real racing returns.

Why do a lot of you guys hate plate racing?

These four races are barely a blip, and the haters act like they take up half the schedule. Go do something else on Sunday, let the rest of us have enjoy watching 30 some cars dance. The vocal minority have at least 15 races of watching spread out, pedal mashing, aero drag boredom.

    Is NASCAR for sale?

Speedway motorsports incorporated, owners of 8 out of the 11 godawful tracks on the circuit.(New Hampshire, Charlotte, Atlanta, Kentucky, new Bristol, Texas, Vegas, and Sonoma) Or another way of stating it, 1/3rd of the damn schedule. Indy, Kansas, and Chicago are the other three non smi tracks...

    Is NASCAR for sale?

The only things preventing nascar from realigning their schedule is the constant threat of being sued by smi and the tv contract. Hopefully this sale goes through, then nascar just has to wait for the end of the tv package to make the necessary decisions on which tracks to take away a race date...

Tracks that you'd like to see NASCAR run

New Smyrna put on a hell of a show last night. But the question is, is it the track, the drivers, or the cars that produce great racing? Is it possible for a great race to take place on a 1.5 mile trioval? Who decided, and why was it decided, that all tracks need to look like Charlotte?
