What do you think about the changes?

My thoughts: 1) The RP tracks will benefit see the most change with the "stage racing" format. Be with it as you may. 2) This will hardly change racing at the other tracks, in my opinion. It's all about aerodynamics. More than anything, pit strategy will become more critical than ever. 3) I...

SiriusXM's NASCAR Radio - Today's, not so hidden, agenda.....

Chocolate is a really nice guy, but he definitely blindly supports anything from NASCAR. He's probably the worst on air personality for the entire station, but I can overlook it because of his character away from the radio.

What Brian France Could Learn From the NFL, but Won't.

I guess, technically speaking, you could finish second in all three of the third round of the playoffs and be eliminated by three winners and a guy getting in on bonus points. How would that be perceived?

Are one-day shows in NASCAR's future?

Carl Edwards to run for US Senate from Missouri?

So, Carl retired from NASCAR because he's tired of the nine month "grind", but wants to enter politics, a 24/7 365 day job? Something doesn't add up.

    Big changes coming

Though it's not what I most wanted, this system is as close as we'll probably ever get to getting a pre 2004 vibe to a season. I'm not for fake cautions, and really not for adding points during the race. As mentioned, its not the drivers taking it easy, rather the aerodynamics of the cars. As...

    The changes have arrived.

So - If you gain bonus points at Daytona - Will those points carry to Phoenix in November, if needed? Or do bonus points reset following Richmond in September?

    Big changes coming

So, am I going to see Michael Waltrip sprinting up and down pit road during the segments, babbling to drivers and teams about "halftime adjustments"?

    Carl Edwards retires

I'm not sure if the timing is right, but Suarez is a super person. Though I'm skeptical, I'm hoping he gets the job done.

    NASCAR exploring weeknight races

As someone who gets up at 3:30 every morning, let me the first to biasedly say that I am not in favor of weeknight races.

    Cup RACE thread --- Homestead

Would love to see a long run to the finish. The final 20-25 laps would require great skill.

    Unofficial "Classic" Driver Points

Yet, Harvick has a very good chance to not even finish in the top 10 overall standings this year, while leading the series with top 10's and a shot to tie for top 5's. Seems legit.
