I'd imagine sponsors and advertisers want as many eyes as possible. Advertisers are willing to spend big $$$ on super bowl commercials, even though viewers can watch it for free.

NASCAR may be getting a bunch of money from these TV & streaming contracts, but they're going to lose money from a shrinking fan base. As cable prices skyrocket, cable subscriptions are plummeting. And, they're expecting fans to pay for Prime in addition to cable.
