Realized don't need to put screws/nails in that blocking from the front. Complete change of plans. Just cut 1.5x3.5 notches for 2x4 for overhang, then everything will be done standing on loft inside the shed. Now to just figure out how to mount the winch to suit me...need to drag piece of 3/4...

While you can't see it been working full days last two. Finally did get couple diagonal braces on front gable. Unfortunately still don't have screws in the peak blocking for front gable. Right next to the clamp just off center from peak. I tried but my extension ladder is as structurally stable...

Think will put both lower front sections of OSB on the roof with no front (porch) overhang. Just be full 8 footers. That will tie everything together. First upper section will be 5 foot that includes overhang. I figure the lower is so steep the overhang won't need to be as strong for snow load...

Ok ..guess it's ten foot ish. It's running at more of an angle than the pitcher shows. Need to do that about 15 more times to make me feel safe. With shorter but more angled 2x4's.

The oddball, warped, 12 foot 2x4 is only thing keeping the rafters from folding. Well plus the screws in the blocking between them.

Yes. They should have been put in place when building the floor. Had them. Didn't put them in. No idea why. Original shed has 2x6 band boards and 2x4 floor joist. Maybe at some point I'll slip a treated 2x4 under the OG skids so everything in on the rain falls mainly in the planes...

Healed up enough crammed the treated 4x4 under new section. It was ponding in the middle when it rains. They are not attached to the shed yet. Need to jack shed up 8 inches to get room to work. Figure be safer when shed has walls and roof sheathing to make it more rigid. Plus really need another...

My guess is the PCM shorted out and started dumping fuel. That was raw fuel going out the pipes and out everywhere.

Wired the winch remote wireless box & contactor. Want to fabricate a bracket to mount it to the winch motor. Really need to do the fab work on the bench with the vise. Drill press be nice too. So we wait till it quits raining. Likely tomorrow or Tuesday. About killed my back yesterday moving...

Finished positioning the truss and put both plate additions in. Those 12 foot 2x4 made a huge lateral difference. Once get roof on will toenail and screw bunch of it together. Have hurricane straps too. Used 6 inch screws for plate extension. It's certainly not to code but much better than it...

Not sure Batteries Plus still rebuilds batteries? Doesn't matter. One new is fine. Trying to jump start an old one again. Attempted this before with no joy.

Ordered a battery & four 18" clamps from Amazon. Clamps be here tomorrow battery Monday. Have another battery should take to Batteries Plus see how much to rebuild.
