My oh my how much I LOVE this track!

    The Announcers Thread

Thanks forgot about Peacock not having NASCAR, USA needed. We rarely watch 90%+ of the channels offered via Hulu (which is essentially a cable imitator but via streaming). A la carte could be good but each service wants their profitability. $30 here, $25 there…

    The Announcers Thread

I guess it’s all relative. They will charge $29.95 per month. If someone is trying to do all over the air, getting all the sports through them might be good. But for NASCAR it takes Fox package, Prime and NBC/Peacock subs to view racing. I use Hulu+ Live for about $86 monthly. Prime cause we do...

NASCAR Pick 'Em 2025 - Kansas

FINALLY had some good luck/good fortune. John Hunter was in a mess, a lap down well behind others in similar shape. Moved up to be in position for the lucky dog, got it. Finished 10th while avoiding multiple wrecks nearby. WHEW!

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

The summary response by NASCAR counsel, following one judge’s unsolicited response that the parties seek mediation, was (paraphrasing) “we will be involved in mediation your honor but these parties want us to rewrite the terms of the Charter Agreement, and we are not going to do that.” NASCAR’s...

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

Yep, this is a HUGE reach by Kessler and the jump gang. I cannot envision ANY circumstance where a judge would allow such proprietary high value information to be extracted by force of law.

Johali's Rate the Cup race --- Texas

7 for the race, +10 for Hambone’s mistakes and BBQ finish!

    Cup RACE thread --- Texas

Ross made the moves late to grab a much needed 2nd. Trackhouse hasn’t found speed in their prep for races so far, rolling off the haulers with poor qualifying results. Chastain wrangled that car into contention.

NASCAR Pick 'Em 2025 - Texas

You just never know. I’ve changed my pick late a couple of times…once helped and the other kicked me in the gonads. Every time I pick Byron he has bad luck. Cody Ware messed him up, but thankfully he was able to recover enough (and other cars wrecked ahead of him) to finish 13th.

Bravo…Hambone follows up his code word debacle and speeding penalty with a quick fry blow up.

    Bonehead of the week: Talladega

Hamcrap for sure…takes out two really good cars including his teammate and spouts off how it was their fault (“I didn’t do anything….”).

    Joey Logano

Oh for sure! Difference is they aren’t typically mic’d up to hear them. Athletes in all sports get loud and profane.

    Joey Logano

A lot of these drivers would do well to just scream at their dashboard for a while…..then take some deep breaths….THEN push their radio button to communicate to their team. Is screaming and cursing going to change anything? ESPECIALLY in regard to your own teammates? Not really. Your crew chief...

    Cup RACE thread --- Talladega

Bell is a company boy (err…man I guess). But read what was said about this incident from the 17’s perspective. Also note the predictable Hampuke’s response (yep…”I didn’t do anything”). https://share.newsbreak.com/cttcykng Chris Buescher ‘s race is done at Talladega. He was running P2 on Lap...

Johali's Rate the Cup race --- Talladega

4.5 and I am a lover of Talladega. This was a managed race from start to finish, and not in a good way. All about gas mileage, manufacturer strategy and pit stops. No racing to speak of. Seems no one was very willing to create opportunities near the end.

The booth endlessly defends Hamjerk by deflecting anything he’s involved with.

    Cup RACE thread --- Talladega

Hamcrap too aggressive, then jabbers in car about how he doesn’t know what happened. Never his fault…🫤

Does Cletus getting top 15 reignite discussion on plate tracks?

I agree there is a skill set required to run Dega and Daytona well…and some talent relative to touch, reaction time, etc. There is also a big element of luck (good and bad). Heard Junior talk about how he ran those tracks and what he’d learned from his Dad/others. He talked about how you had to...
