FINALLY had some good luck/good fortune. John Hunter was in a mess, a lap down well behind others in similar shape. Moved up to be in position for the lucky dog, got it. Finished 10th while avoiding multiple wrecks nearby. WHEW!

A lot of these drivers would do well to just scream at their dashboard for a while…..then take some deep breaths….THEN push their radio button to communicate to their team. Is screaming and cursing going to change anything? ESPECIALLY in regard to your own teammates? Not really. Your crew chief...

4.5 and I am a lover of Talladega. This was a managed race from start to finish, and not in a good way. All about gas mileage, manufacturer strategy and pit stops. No racing to speak of. Seems no one was very willing to create opportunities near the end.
