Exactly, Larson has a sense of how hard he can push it. Sometimes he loses, but often times he doesn't and that is what differentiates him from the others.

I remember it well and see it both ways. I just have a hard time with 'racing' where you need help to advance or drop like a rock if you are out of line. But it is what it is I still watch it.

Yea, I wasn't so much referring to the sheer speed. Mainly the fact it wasn't pack racing going on and on monotonously waiting for the 'big one'. Depending on others to go fast or getting out of line and going backwards is not what racing should be.
