    Denny Hamlin Appreciation Thread

I can’t see where the drivers have much time for anything given all their commitments. Denny can be the fun dad and take his child to school in a helicopter!

PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

Good question. It looked like many old guys disappeared once the races went to Prime & I expect the young guys will disappear when the races begin on TNT. It’s almost like people are more fans of what platform the races are on then the races themselves

    Denny Hamlin Appreciation Thread

Denny will be enjoying raising a teenager in his 60’s. Now that sounds like work!

    Ram Truck Team?

I read where viewers of the Coca Cola 600 on Prime had a median age of 55.8 compared to 62.8 for Cup races on linear networks. Do you think this 7 year age reduction will remain about the same for all the races on Prime?

    Ram Truck Team?

I’m sorry that I wasn’t clear about the source. This old senior dude is having some technical difficulties 😁

    Ram Truck Team?

I don’t know if this is accurate but apparently Stellantis won’t return to Cup until Nascar has 80-100 million fans. Apparently NASCAR currently has 20 million fans but there is a plan in place to get too 100 million.

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

I can’t ever recall reading anything where the idea of making making charters fixed was discussed by NASCAR. I thought they were available for teams to use, lease or sell & at the end of the broadcast deal the charters returned to Nascar to do with what they wanted.

    Lets discuss Carson Hocevar

Hocevar seems to have the intangibles that you can’t teach. He’s fast and reminds me of a guy that could get a top 5 in a 10th place care. He also has that look you see when drivers are getting ready to get their first win. I know he’s a little rambunctious at times but that’s all part of his...

PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

It is the worst FF button I’ve ever used too. It also didn’t want to resume where I left off. Most people seem very pleased with what Prime brought to the table though so that is good. Some of the things people liked about the broadcast don’t matter to me. I don’t watch any of the after race...

    7 A decent race that I’m glad I watched.

What is your promote, keep, drop line?

With the way the championship is now winning is everything to me & the championship is like winning MPD. Based solely on performance I would give the Gibbs boy one more year after this to show he was worthy of a JGR seat. He would need to be fast & show signs he was getting ready to win. If...

PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

My mind is crystal clear but even if it was cloudy you can still catch races Ned, Bob, Benny & pit reporter Jerry Punch did on YouTube. That should settle it.

Your thoughts on 21 Car this year??

My reaction to the race was positive. As far as Berry goes he was fast as a fill in driver at Hendrick & has shown speed for Penske. He’s done what needs to be done by winning a race so he’s made the playoffs. I don’t follow Berry but I see he’s 16th place in the driver standings 20 points...

Big Brain of the Race: Coca-Cola 600

It would be hard not to give a team who rolled off last & won the big brain but when you do it in a backup car there is no question!

PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

I thought the race coverage was better than FOX but not significantly. I’m used to the gold standard of Ned, Bob & Benny ESPN’s coverage in the 80’s & 90’s.

    Johali's Rate the Cup race --- 600

9 Thoroughly enjoyed it & I liked watching Hocevar. I know he’s rubbed some people the wrong way but the kid is fast & a future winner.

Dale Jr Download--The Female Future Stars of the Sport

You’re right as most women have the common sense to seek help while guys carry on. I’ve had really good luck with super glue with smaller cuts & gashes.

Bonehead of the week: All-Star race

I’m going with Bubba Wallace & the Gibbs boy for not transferring from the open to the ASR. They have great equipment & resources which makes things even worse.
