    Stenhouse out

If they're going to do that, they might switch before the season closes.

SiriusXM's NASCAR Radio - Today's, not so hidden, agenda.....

Every year at Daytona Preseason Testing, as sure to happen as the sun coming out, Darrell Waltrip would find every journalist and reporter he could, and would cry that NASCAR had to penalize the Fords otherwise Mr. France would not have much of a show for his big race in February.

    2019 F1 News Thread

Removing things we don't know about like cash transfers and business-to-business transactions, this move of Haas keeping both Grosjean and Magnussen makes zero sense. They've been worst team in the field this year bar Williams. If I were Williams, I'd try to do everything I can to have...

What's Hemric's options really? -the JTG Daugherty ride Buescher is leaving -the Front Row ride Ragan is leaving -any of the backmarker rides -go back to Xfinity Not sure any of the Cup options have a high probability.

Probably, but the reason they have the unpopular position is they only have 5 full-time cars out of 36.

    Silly Season 2020

He's in a Childress car ahead of drivers from JTG Daugherty and Front Row Racing. Taking a broader view of the points, he's 25th out of the 31 full-timers (33 if you want to add Chastain and Cassill). Actually, Austin is 23rd and Ty is 24th. So the only cars any of the Childress organization...

    Silly Season 2020

From my Unofficial Rules of Auto Racing This has been edited in recent years to add "Ricky Stenhouse and Justin Haley", at least until they win somewhere else.

Because the family that owns NASCAR also owns those tracks.

    Silly Season 2020

Yes. Driving talent is absolutely meaningless in determining if a guy finishes 1st or a guy finishes 30th at these two tracks. You can have a piss poor car and win. You can have the best car and be the best driver on the track and finish 30th.

    Silly Season 2020

You weren't addressing me, but yes. Add Talladega as well. If NASCAR wants that to change, make the racing at Daytona and Talladega less a crapshoot. As far as Austin Dillon, he's a midfielder. That's just his role in life. Maybe someday he can become Truex and become a regular race winner. But...

    Silly Season 2020

I just don't buy that. There's all sorts of discussions behind closed doors that we know nothing about. I can't prove anything of course and all it is is a surmised opinion, but I don't buy public relations spin speak hook, line, and sinker either. This isn't the NFL, you don't retire at 27...

    2019 Indianapolis – Big Machine Vodka 400 -- Pre-Race Thread

Has the MBM #66 ran out of money? They've not entered any races for awhile and I would think the Brickyard would be one to do. BC39 by the way has 90 entries.

    Silly Season 2020

So no team outside the Childress orbit are looking to hire Ty Dillon? Ty is more talented than him, but this is pretty Brian Scott-ish.

    Who is the NASCAR GOAT?

How many people with these short attention spans would not be fans under the old system but under the current system they're into it? There's no publicly available stats on this available anywhere I reckon. It also encourages people to watch fewer races if they treat the title as the be all...
