Less accomplished drivers have gotten in but they shouldn't have. Carl was on his way to being HOF worthy but left before he was there.

So if no other tracks get a 2nd date, how do you make up a full schedule. Are there that many tracks with the ability to have a cup race? Safety, logistics, garages etc etc, it takes a lot for a track to host a cup race.

Definitely was better than the colliseum and the racing was better than I expected. Was nice that the outside line was there which I certainly didn't expect. That said I still don't think cup cars should run on a track shorter than 1/2 mile. There needs to be a straightaway.

Earnhardt Sr was not as popular as JR. Lots of people loved him but lots of people hated him too.

Not saying Jimmie is looking to leave Toyota but even if he was you would hear nothing about it from him until it happened. Jimmie is quite adapt at saying the right thing to keep his sponers and manufacturer happy.

Most tracks require a driver to be in decent physical shape to run the full distance in a cup race. Daytona is not one of them. It's the mental aspect that gets the workout.

Is McDonald's leaving NASCAR? Aren't they still sponsoring bubba? Seems they just aren't sponsoring Chicago street race which is probably in it's last year of existence so it's no big deal.

I enjoy hanging out with my wife even if the boys are around. Always would rather her be around. That's a good thing in my book.
