The biggest problem at Daytona & Talladega right now is the complete inability to pass without a ton of help. Cutting the spoiler down would be an easy fix.

^It's an improvement compared to the 550 HP version of the previous car, which isn't saying much. The cars are way too easy to drive now on all tracks, except the technical road courses.

Wasn't the main idea behind the Next Gen car to reduce costs? That hasn't happened apparently so playing hardball with NASCAR on the charter/revenue sharing agreement is their only hope.

Everyone knows owning a race team is a great way to lose money. At least the charter gives them some assurance of recouping some of their losses on the backend. If NASCAR pulls the charters, the game is over. Not even Bill France Sr. would have had the balls to do that.

^If NASCAR is going to run a race on Easter, Richmond isn't the worst place to do it. I'd rather see them make it Cup's first off-week and push the finale back to mid-November.

NASCAR doesn't need to go to COTA, a street course and a roval track every year. Pick two of the three. I'd prefer to see Road America back on the schedule.

^I agree that it was a close second to ESPN. NASCAR doesn't feel like a big-time event on Fox anymore due to the budget cuts they've made in recent years. Hopefully the newcomers in 2025 will spark a new era in motorsports broadcasting.

I said this years ago on another forum: the best NASCAR TV broadcasts were produced by ESPN SpeedWorld in the 80s and early 90s. We're in a different era now obviously, but if some of that magic could be recaptured today it would make watching NASCAR cool again.

3.5...only a GWC finish would make Phoenix exciting. I have a feeling we won't be seeing the last race of the season here for much longer.
