My expectations were on the floor for this weekend so I’m very pleasantly surprised by the racing for the most part. With another Iowa winter or two this place should mostly be back to normal. I sincerely hope they manage to have another race here next year.

Palou and CGR stay finding new ways to win. I simply can’t fathom how gutting that is for Newgarden and the 2 crew. Absolutely shocking. Lil Dave gave it a hell of a run to march back up to P4 at the finish. He got screwed by that yellow as well.

Took the wave around to get back on the lead lap but he’s done for as far as the win is concerned. Shocking that that would happen twice. Armstrong and Shwartzman seem poised for career bests. Wow!

Andretti absolutely ****** the setup this weekend. All three cars with blown RFs. Another catastrophic development for Newgarden. Penske simply can not get ANYTHING to go their way.

I would say probably 2028 when the new car and engine formula debut. It’ll take a lot of lead time to organize the logistics as well. Pato mentioned it by name recently so it does seem like a pretty serious consideration. Super Formula races pretty well there so I wouldn’t mind seeing it.

Newgarden is probably fully enraged right now. It’s gonna be fun watching him charge through the field now. Excellent wheel-to-wheel battle that was with Malukas and Palou.
