    Layoffs at Hendrick

I don't get it. Why would you layoff a spotter? I would think if he was not performing they's fire him not layoff. JJ has to have a spotter so why lay one off that is doing a good job. On a side note, it is a sad state of affaris when one of the top temas in NASCAR starts laying off people!!!

    Curious

Why is it Robby Gordon can always seem to run races with sponsorship when all he is at best is an upper-class field filler but big name teams with proven records like Yates Racing cannot find sponsors? I just found it odd this weekend as I watched Robby with a sponsor and recalled all the...

    Good Move/Bad Move

I think this is dumb. Yet another example of a company that thinks because some open-wheelers have done well they all will. AJ has come on strong and is a decent driver but again Red Bull is R&D right now not top notch like JGR is but they have been doing deent with Vickers all year and now...

    Penalties Announced

See I watched the video and I did not see Carl retaliate, I saw him lose grip on the wheel as shrub hit him which caused him to abrutly turn down the sharp banking and Shrub's car happened to be in the way :D

    Sorensen to GEM: Offical

Personally I think it is Ganassi who is washed up. He expects superior performance out of sub-par equipement and when he does not get it he blames the drivers. I think Ganassi and Penske both need to put more into thier cup program versus other series if they want to see results.

    Congrats Keselowski

Just saw he actually was offered the #12 Alltel car and turned it down. Shows he has a good heaad on his shoudlers and is taking things slow.

    Bye-Bye Yeley

Did anyone really expect this team to be anything more than a R&D car for JGR??

    Mears to Petty

I saw this as a possible move on Jayski. Th emore I think about it the more I can see this as a good fit. I think Mears would mesh well there with Bobby. I know he would not be a contender but if Kyle got out of the car for good and Bobby and Mears could work together then maybe just maybe...

    Sign of the economy woes??

I find it interesting that Robby Gordon cannot get a sponser for a road race. I mean the guy runs like junk all year except for twice a year (two road courses) then he is up front all day and a sponser would have a lot of TV coverage. This could really be a sign of the economy woes I gues when...

This may not be anything...but could be

Interesting. I wonder if that was done out of respect or if DEI has rights to that. I would think it was part of his contract at the time it was done and that DEI could not dictate it being banned. Respect?

Violation voids finish for Gibbs driver

I do not think they should set the precendence at lower levels of NASCAR and then be a bunch of chickens and not do it at the cup level.
