Drivers are only added to the "Drivers Used" list after their first time as part of the starting line-up of a race. Because Allmendinger didn't run in the Daytona 500 he's not on the "Thru Race #1" list. He, and any one else making their first start at Atlanta, will be on the next list. As...

Those people have to do those things in order to keep from not getting what they're after. On the other hand . . . "I've got a ticket !!! Let me in !!!"

It refers to the number of positions in the standings Gained or Lost since the last race. Have no clue what the number refers to after the first race of the season. :idunno:

Guess that would slow up things a bit. Wonder if they had signs like this posted . . .
