Holy crap. I searched for the temperature in Kennewick thinking you're exaggerating, and WU is forecasting a high of 113! Here in northern Texas, we often reach the lower 100s in July and August, but we rarely reach 108. 113 pretty much never happens here.

I don't understand buying a car without driving it first. What if you don't like how it feels to drive or sit in? What if you want to compare how different cars feel?

Ehhh. Lebanon is a satellite of Nashville... similar to Hampton being a satellite of Atlanta or Justin being a satellite of Fort Worth (before the latter annexed the track). It's okay to brush off a satellite town like Lebanon in favor of a metro anchor like Nashville.

I'm watching a commercial-free stream of this race, which is showing the grandstands during commercial breaks. Wow! There are a TON of seats blocked off. Not just the turns... the upper levels located under the suites as well. I guess I'm not the only person not attending.

I'm just now tuning in. I'm glad I didn't buy tickets for this race. I'm feeling miserable. I'm sore and tired from five days of tough work, my allergies are kicking my ass, and I'm getting a headache. It was a nightmare to get out of bed today. EDIT: My usual allergy season is January/February...

As a reminder, Texas Motor Speedway is in Fort Worth- a metropolitan anchor city with its own skyline. What a bummer this is an All-Star race and not a traditional 500-mile race. But, it's nice to have COTA on the schedule, which is what TMS lost its Spring race to.

After all of that, I'm still not sure what the game show they're promoting is supposed to be about.

This is a strange advertisement for a game show. EDIT: This commercial break has lasted 10 minutes so far. 3 minutes of normal commercials, 5 minutes of live commercial, and another 2 minutes of normal commercials.
