The "Ones to Watch" segment feels so fake. I get the impression announcers are told which drivers to pick.

On the previous restart, Kyle Larson gained a ton of positions. On this restart, he's losing a ton of positions.

Kyle Larson passed a half dozen or so cars on that restart by going 3 wide on the outside. :blink:

It's 7F (-14C) in Fort Worth right now! :blink: I've never experienced temperatures this cold in my life! We're also seeing our first major snow accumulation in 6 years. It used to be an every other year thing when I was a kid & teen, so we we're overdue.

A bit dull, but it had a few interesting moments. I'll go with a 5.

Before stage cautions, NASCAR used to throw cautions when they wanted to bunch up the field, using "debris" as an excuse. NASCAR isn't and hasn't been interested in throwing debris cautions for actual debris.

It looks like FOX already preempted their new "Cherries Wild" show. That's a good sign they're committed to airing the race on FOX rather than cable.

My dad/family and I were there! The race started around 11:30pm and ended around 3:00am. If they would've postponed it, I would've had to miss it. I was already missing a day of class in a short 5 or 6-week semester by flying home Monday. I couldn't miss another day.

The local FOX affiliate here in Dallas-Fort Worth just cut to local news. The top story is our first major snowstorm in 6 years.

Not sure about elsewhere, but here in Fort Worth, In-n-Out is significantly less expensive than Five Guys. (Basically, $4 vs $10 for a burger). And, the former comes in "animal style." I'll take the former over the latter.

FOX is considering pushing aside a major live event as prestigious as the Daytona 500 in favor of a pre-recorded sitcom?! I hope he's wrong.

Here in Fort Worth, yes! We're currently experiencing the first snowfall with accumulation on grass in 6 years! In Daytona Beach, no. They're seeing rain and lightning.
