Gotta love that. Elliott gets the 5 team's cast offs that weren't cutting it earlier in the year and got swapped out. Apparently this dude put on 2 loose wheels this year too.

Larson, like everyone, is still vulnerable if he isn't leading. He fell back to 3rd and was off the 9's pace quite a bit when he lost the lead. Track position still rules. We saw it last week at Texas after he lost the lead too.
I guess the only thing I'm hanging my hat on is they're showing the ability to stay afloat when things aren't going exactly how they want. You gotta be able to do that. IF they can get the speed figured out it will make them a very well rounded team come late in the season.
As I watch this I can't help but laugh at Bowyer during practice yesterday insisting that Cliff Daniels was wrong in saying the 45 was the best car and that it was actually Gibbs. Dude is such a blowhard.
