Ty hasn’t won a NASCAR sanctioned race in 10 years. Harrison Burton won a race 3 weeks ago. If they have to pick a mediocre son of a former driver. Burton is young and might at least improve.

I get the feeling people are gonna be sick of Connor Zilisch by this time next year. He gonna win and win a TON in 2025. He’s very very good. Larson type talent with Joey Logano type composure.

Smoke is who I most compare Kyle Larson to. Can climb in anything anytime and wheel it to the front. IndyCars, sprint cars, stock cars. You name it. Also maddeningly streaky and enigmatic at times. Won a whole hell of a lot. But not as much as they should have in NASCAR.

Still the odds on favorite for the championship 🤷🏻‍♂️

Tyler Reddick hasn’t finished worse than 6th in the last 8 races. But Larson, Larson, Larson is all anyone talks about. I’m not a Reddick fan but the 45 is your regular season champ IMO. Way too many mistakes, wrecks, poor finishes out of the 5 team over the summer.

I now wish Zane Smith would’ve won Nashville. Then we could’ve had the 32nd and 33rd place guys in points in the pLaYoFFs

The finish was obvious. So I’ll say Ricky Stenhouse running 25th with 2 laps to go and deciding to run turn 1 at Richmond like he’s at Talladega. Also NASCAR race control once again for having no clue what the hell they are doing as usual.

Yep. If this doesn’t prove how galactically stupid “win and you’re in” is. But NASCAR doesn’t care. They and NBC got what they wanted. A highlight to run for the next 5 years. And us talking about the circus.
