Nascar's Larson, CBell, Day and Kahne in the dirt on FS-1 tonight.

If you aren't watching Joker's Jackpot tonight, in all seriousness, you have made super poor decisions in life.

    2025 World of Outlaws

So, is this where Zeb Wise lands? I dunno who else is better sitting around who can fill this seat. Gio took an insane spill yesterday and he hasn't had the best year, but he did win earlier in the season and he's fast. I know he's relocated to Iowa so I wonder how this affects that.

I turned it on as they were airlifting Kalib and I couldn't stand to keep watching at that point. Just went to bed. I've watched a lot of him this year as he's here in the midwest racing and it broke my heart to see that.

Shane van Gisbergen is the greatest talent to arrive in NASCAR . . .

It would be foreign talent just as it is now. I think the primary reason it hasn't happened more is that most of the qualified talent (basically: GT/Super GT/V8 Supercars) doesn't have a sponsor that wants to be in the US market and to advertise to Americans in an American racing series. If they...

Shane van Gisbergen is the greatest talent to arrive in NASCAR . . .

If you come up racing ovals, then you already know that there's a world of oval racing there for you should you decide to race them after your NASCAR national touring series career ends. And that's what happens, right? Kasey Kahne is still out racing ovals. Bobby Labonte is still out racing...

Shane van Gisbergen is the greatest talent to arrive in NASCAR . . .

If you have five races where you give yourself a good shot, that's still 5 races. That's more than you've got plate races before the cutoff. I do agree that V8 Supercars guys seem like the best options, which also makes sense. That's the closest thing to this car. Also, if you think about GT3...

Shane van Gisbergen is the greatest talent to arrive in NASCAR . . .

He was brought in because by winning a road or street race, he makes the chase and the team financially benefits from that. If he progresses into being a championship contender, great for them. Not entirely the intent though. TBH after a year or two of that I wonder how many multicar teams...

    F1 2025 News/Misc.

At the end of the day, Red Bull was dominant in the WDC for years and then the people who made the team that way left and now they're basically in the Mercedes/Ferrari zone as occasional threat to win but not a serious title contender anymore for WDC or the Constructor's Title. Need I remind...

    F1 2025 News/Misc.

'member when Christian Horner was being reportedly being tabbed to take over Red Bull GBMH - the whole thing, the drink company and the whole 9 yards? And so they engaged in a coverup of him being a creeper to female employees and it led to Newey, Wheatley, and presumably given this, Max...

Why Is There No Kaylee Bryson Thread?

I'm a little puzzled at her making a first start at Sonoma - yes, I totally understand the why, I follow this thread, I watch her race - just because even though she does have road racing experience, the bulk of her knowledge is on ovals. She's the first woman to win a Silver Crown race. I just...

Which racing series deserves a major live TV / streaming event?

So as to push my own post off the top of this because that thread is spent, I just want to say that I discovered a month or two ago that Monster Jam streams many events live on YouTube from start to finish. I don't really care, but hey, it's listed here. Also, I 100% don't care if dirt racing...

    2025 World of Outlaws

If you weren't Kofoid, Balog, or Williamson, you weren't going to have a chance to win this week. I too have to wonder how many folks will just opt to run Ohio instead next year.

    F1 2025 News/Misc.

Lmao given that Richard Hammond couldn't even get the damn thing to move without a lot of help when he tested out the Renault years and years ago on Top Gear I would pay money to see Trump try to drive a modern F1 car.

Cup RACE thread --- Mexico City

SVG was hired by Trackhouse to get his car in the Chase each year and help them collect a bigger chunk of the team money by doing what he did in Mexico City. That's how the sport is structured so that's what you're gonna get.

    Deegan update

She looked better today. Had to get the hang of things but once she did she performed fine. Jack Miller was a moving chicane; small miracle a bunch of cars weren't binned getting by him. I assume he got black flagged.

Lights went out again at Gateway, just like last year. At least this time they got in 20 laps first.

    Deegan update

She looked a lot better today. Early on she was getting out of the throttle about 100 yards further out than any of the top cars, but she got better and better about carrying speed into 1.
