Just curious, I saw a racing-forums.com at the bottom of the list as a patreon supporter of Eric Estepp's show on YouTube. I used to support the show as Sky Racing-forums. Whoever made that call if this is true, thanks. He cranks out two or three videos of racing news a week during the season.

How many of us under 30 have the means to be buying full fledged V8 late models/modifieds without a check from someone's daddy? Anything smaller is considered "hobby" racing. If this is how they shoot their shot I'm for it. Interested to see how the sim translates to the real thing.

Yeah, the issue with the Southern Tour was it often conflicted with weekly racing at BGS. That is the only tour type class I know of that runs every week down here. We're talking 20+ teams every single Saturday.

There are a lot of active short tracks in the Carolinas.. Bowman Gray, Ace, Caraway, Hickory, Orange County, 311, Southern National, Fayetteville, Carteret County, Myrtle Beach, Dillon, Greenville Pickens.

It's not happening right now because Richmond County still never really recovered from the recession. The coastal counties in the area have experienced an economic boom. Not many inland counties have reaped the same rewards. The dragway still seems to bring a decent crowd, the infrastructure...

I'd give it a 9 there were some really good long battles throughout the day. When the place has heat and sun beating down it's almost 2 grooves. Had a BLAST but I'm biased, I was in attendance.
