Just watched the race at CTMP. Wow! Couldn't believe they peanalized Ranger there seemed like a racing incident to me. Especially after seeing Gary Klutt get flat out DUMPED by Tags. Glad to see some cameros in there should be an awesome season cheers to a year long points system!

No doubt that helps but there are a decent amount of tracks with a lot of character, history and a high concentration of fans that would sell out for a truck race that can't afford the current nascar sanctioning fee.

Exactly my point that if we had more Standalone races we'd have higher truck counts. 4 or so a year aint cuttin it chief.

It's a bummer man the Truck Series has such a cool opportunity to return to a lot of local short tracks and really be the Grassroots National touring series that could breathe some life back into the sport if only the sanctioning fee wasn't so ****** high.

What would have made sense 10 or 15 years ago or even now would be the implementation of a minimum age bracket K&N 14+ Trucks 16+ Xfinity 18+ Cup 21+ This would have made it easier for good drivers to develop in lower series and really establish their name and skills before coming up to cup.

Chase is running better than the other Hendrick cars. The Camero ZL1 (that's what they call it at least) has just been outclassed this year. I really think it has something to do with the nose. Looks to have a bit more drag than yodas and fords.

The IRL didn't molest the point system or change the way races are are run with segments or ruin qualifying or design a hideous car that no one had anything good to say about.

Dirt track has the WoO tour the Friday before the 600 it will be the most intersting race of the 2 weekends for sure.
