Dumbest ending to a race I've ever seen

I've seen tracks tear up cars before, and I've seen cars tear up tracks before, but DAMN I've never seen the back and forth between cars and tracks we saw at the end of the race today! The cars may have won but the track definitely got its shots in before it's curb carcass got scraped up and...

Check out superbox. It's not perfect but I've had it since January and have no regrets. Feel free to PM me if you have questions after checking out you tube video reviews.

It's hot in the PNW! I live by Portland at a little over 1000' elevation and it's 108 right now!

Cup RACE thread --- Pocono, No. 2

You never know what's going to happen until the winter crosses at Finish Line! I don't remember if it was the last lap (maybe someone else remembers better than me and can help me out here) but Dale Earnhardt got a flat tire one time and hit a seagull another time at the end of the Daytona 500.

    SRX RACE thread --- Stafford

I would have liked to have seen a little more beatin' and bangin' and more passing but it was entertaining. Definitely more entertaining than a certain PPV fight that was one recently LOL!

    SRX RACE thread --- Stafford

Hey we were talking about cordless tools on another thread and they just changed Marco's tire with a cordless Milwaukie impact. Seemed to have plenty of torque. Not sure how it would compare speed-wise on a competitive pit stop.

    Electric pit gun?

Thanks- that's the kind of info I was looking for when I said I didn't know how they would compare with what pit crews are using. I still think with a single nut they could do 4 tires with a couple cordless in the time it takes to fuel- yes/no? And why didn't you just grab a 4 way and take them...

    Electric pit gun?

Actually I'm a journeyman plumber and I do both plumbing and pipe fitting at all kinds of industrial settings - from Hi-Tech places like Intel and Microsoft to high rises to Industrial facilities and all we use are cordless tools anymore. Pretty much only Milwaukee brand also. Milwaukee has...

    Electric pit gun?

Maybe I'm in the minority but I like the idea! I'm not sure how it compares with the pneumatics that the pit Crews use but the Milwaukee torque gun that I use at work is pretty damn powerful and fast. We use them with the lithium batteries, I have one at home also that we use changing the tires...

Cup "rainy" RACE thread --- COTA

So I was pulling for Larson and wanted the race to continue. But after seeing Kurt hydroplane( magnificent job of keeping it moving BTW) and after the Truex/ Custer wreck I have no problem with Nascar calling it. Scared the hell out of me seeing Cole climb out(understandably) of a burning car on...

Dale jr concerned about dads legacy

I agree with you. Unfortunately it is the reality that the farther away we get from someone's accomplishments the less the degree of dominance is remembered. Sure people will remember they were good, but not get how good they were. I was a youngster in the infield at Riverside in the 60s and 70s...

    Garage/Pit Lane COVID Protocols

I would like to see the whole garage area vaccinated- but I don't think it should be mandatory. Spend a little time educating all teams on the pros and cons of it. I got the vaccine, I want stuff to go back to normal! I want to go to clubs and see live music! As for being concerned about what's...

Is a street race next for the cup/xfinity/trucks?

The problem I see with street courses is there is hardly any room to pass, even the indy cars seem to struggle with passing. I don't really follow indy cars but on occasion I'll watch a race and that's what my untrained eye sees.

cutting the cable and still watch nascar

I don't know 😄 From what I've read it's legal- and we all know everything on the interwebs is the truth! It's magic!
